Privacy

Flowers for Joy is a program of MDJunior Inc. We keep this website simple, and we collect as little information as possible.

What we don't do

• We don't use cookies, tracking or advertising tools.
• We don't have accounts or logins.
• We don't sell, rent or trade anyone's information.

Information you choose to send us

The volunteer form doesn't store anything on this website. When you press Send, it opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, and we receive only what you decide to send. We use it to reply to you and to coordinate volunteering, and for nothing else. If you'd like us to delete your messages or details, email us and we will.

Donations

Donations are made through Zelle, directly from your bank's app to MDJunior Inc. This website never sees or stores your bank or payment details. MDJunior Inc. receives the normal details Zelle provides with a payment, such as your name and the amount, and uses them only to record the donation.

Technical information

Like every website, this site's hosting provider keeps standard server records, such as IP addresses and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when the page opens. We don't use this information to identify visitors.

Photos

Photos of patients appear only with their permission. If you appear in a photo on this site and would like it removed, email us and we'll take it down.

Links to other websites

This site links to partners, press articles and social media. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Children

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

By using this website, you agree to these simple terms.

• Not medical advice. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Patients and families should talk with their care team about allergies, scent sensitivities or immune concerns.
• Our content. The text, photos and video on this site belong to Flowers for Joy, MDJunior Inc. or the people who shared them with us. Please ask before reusing them. Sharing a link to the site is always welcome.
• Names and logos. Partner and press names and logos belong to their owners and appear here to recognize their support.
• Accuracy. We work to keep the information current, but details such as locations and schedules may change.
• Other websites. We aren't responsible for the content of websites we link to.
• Changes. We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.

What we've done

• Our story video includes on-screen captions.
• Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
• Text and buttons use color contrast chosen for readability.
• Form fields have labels that screen readers announce.
• The site works with a keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link is available.
• The layout adjusts to phones, tablets and zoomed-in text.

Known limitations

• The video's captions are part of the video, so they can't be resized or turned off.
• Websites we link to, including partner and press sites, are outside our control and may not meet the same standards.
